Online Manuscript Submission

CJAS uses ScholarOne Manuscripts (formerly Manuscript Central) to peer review manuscript submissions. All manuscripts should be submitted online at the ScholarOne Manuscripts website at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/rcas. New users should first create an account. Once a user is logged onto the site submissions should be made via the Author Centre. Online user guides and access to a helpdesk are available on this website. Please read the guide for ScholarOne authors before making a submission.

Before preparing your submission, please visit the CJAS homepage at www.tandfonline.com/RCAS for full instructions for authors, including a complete style guide. Complete guidelines for preparing and submitting a manuscript to CJAS are also provided in this CAAS website.

Submitted manuscripts are subject to peer review at the discretion of the Editorial Board. In order to maintain anonymity during any refereeing process, authors are requested to refrain from, or keep to a minimum, self-referencing.

There are no page charges in the Canadian Journal of African Studies.
